My son is a little over 4 months old and for quite a while actually, he will go onto his sides...he can roll over, he has dont it but only 2 or 3 times..i know hes capable of doing it, but he doesnt seem to want to..so i was just wondering when its normal for them to roll over the whole way?!

hi
my little man didnt roll over totally until he was 7 months old so dont worry on it. I was worried and posted a thread when he was 6 months saying 'how come he hasnt rolled yet!!" but i worried for nothing as now he rolls all over the place :)

Eeeek!

Don't worry about your little one rolling over too soon! :) It will eventually come---when he's ready. :)

my ds will be 5 months tomorrow and has been rolling back and forth since he was 3 1/2 months and I have to constantly keep an eye on the little booger!!!! That just means he gets into more things than he should! :) He's trying to crawl now, but doens'g quite get it yet! heheh When he's on his hands and knees, he scoots forwards and backwards---so cute! :) hehe

Thank u! that eases my mind..i just worry because he was in the NICU because of low apgar scores..they really bother me because they referred him to early intervention and when called me to discuss health and everything, they told me the NICU had him as 4 weeks premature, which he surely was not..he was 5 days overdue actually! and they said something about him possibly having trouble with the lower half of his body, which the NICU NEVER mentioned anything to me about that! he seems to be doing good..he rolls to his side, he reaches for toys and plays with them, he responds to different sounds and lights and he pulls his feet up and tries to grab his toes, he kicks a lot..he is very fussy sometimes but he is collic and he may have acid reflux (they said hes too old for the testing to determine it, but he may be?) but i do still worry since they said something to early intervention about him having possible problems with his lower body! Does this stuff seem normal for his age? or should he be doing more?
