I have just started Yasmin and am experiencing anxiety and slight depression, I am just wondering if this is common during the first month or so of taking bc pills, because when I started Ortho-Cyclen before I felt the same way for the first month.

I talked to my doctor today about this actually. I am on Yasmin also.. my doctor told me that Yasmin is one of the lowest risk pills for the mood changes. I have heard that it is common for these kinds of side effects to go away within a few months.. so hopefully this will happen for you! Good luck!

I started Yasmin to help with my mood swings and depression. It was been great for me in that aspect and all others. If your depression doesn't fade within 3 months, or worsens, then I suggest switching. Just gotta find the right BC for you.
