I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any palpable nodes near the manubrium where the clavicles "connect" to it. I can feel a hard, 2.5cm lump on the clavicle-manubrium junction. This mass is partly on the manubrium and partly on the clavicle, so it's not in area that I think any nodes would be. Has anyone here had lymphoma of a node involving this clavicular-manubrium area?

Hi mhtbg,
I can't really tell ya if the location where your lump is could be a lymph node or not(hopefully someone else with more knowledge will be able to shed some light on that question for ya;))
That said, I am gonna tell you this. Regardless where you end up having a lump, whether it is a lymph node or something else, you should always bring it to the attention of your doctor! The human body is something really complexe and it is always better to be safe than sorry!
Could be a cyst too, or can be a lot of other things. Go see your doctor, tell her about it and also about your concerns! There is no reasons for you to stay on your own with these worries, when your doctor can ease your mind!
Whether the lump hides something serious going on, or it is just an infection or cyst, once you know for sure, at least you can take the appropriate steps to take care of the problem!
I hope all come out good for ya! Let us know what happens, alright?!
Take care

Right--I do intend to see a doctor (app. already made), but I wanted to know if there are any palpable subclavicular nodes--there aren't. They lie behind the sternal ribs and are not palpable even when they are enlarged.
