Hi ladies, since I am breastfeeding and on the minipill I can't go by my periods since I have no regular cycle, so, what I was wondering is when after having sex can you take a pregnancy test? Thanks again.

If you are thinking you might be pregnant then the only way a test would show a positive would be 14 days (or so) after you ovulate. If you don't remember there being any signs that you ovulated then I would go 14-18 days after you had sex.

Thank you so much. I am on bc but this month has been a little hectic and missed my pill on a few occasions. I feel really irresponsible but can't go back now. I want another baby really bad, just not for another couple of years!!!
