My 20 year old cousin has been having really bad stomach aches for at least the past 6 months. Last week, he was rushed to the doctor's because he was vomiting non-stop. Come to find out, he had diarrhea and vomiting for about 6 days before then.
While at the doctor's, they took xrays and ended up coming to the conclusion that he has an irregular liver, and it will occassionally stop working, then start again. They gave him 3 different medicines and told him to eat absolutley NO dairy products.
I had elevated liver enzymes earlier this year, due to gallstones. But I don't remember reading anything about an irregular liver. I'm sorry I don't have more details, but I just head about all of this this morning.
Please share what your thoughts are on this. Thank you.

Hi there,
I think the diagnosis is too vague and they need to give you a medical term for the condition...then you can search it out on the net. Maybe it is fatty liver or something although I don't know why they wouldn't just come out and say fatty liver. Sorry I can't be of any help, but once you find out the medical term I think you will be able to get some answers. Best of Luck....
