It takes a couple of cycles to get use to a new pill right? This may be a dumb question but, could I stop my pills like a week early and get my period and get through the cycle quicker? start a new one after my period and get my body adjusted quicker to the new pills?
If not I understand, but im just wondering because I am extremely anxious right now and I want to speed up the adjustment process.

No, you should never skip a week of pills because you will be at serious risk for pregnancy. You should always take ALL of the active pills in every pack to make sure that you are covered. Any time you miss ANY of the active pills, you put yourself at serious, serious risk for pregnancy.
You don't have to take the placebo pills because they are only there to remind you to be taking a pill every day at the same time. But you should always, always take all of your active pills. There is no "speeding up" the process of adjustment. It is what it is.

You should not try that.. definitely take them as you as supposed to when your body is getting used to them.
Later on you can vary the pills a little bit to delay periods if you need (or skip one) BUT this works best with a pill with all the same color with only the last week different. If you have a multiphase pill, I don't think this always works. But you don't want to try shortening your cycle or lengthening it until after your body has adjusted. You don't want to risk pregnancy.
I have never had a period a week early, but I have had one a couple of days early.. definitely waited well over a year before trying! I have skipped a period before without any problem and I have delayed it by a few days as well. But please wait for a while before trying this! It won't help your body adjust quicker.

Its not really the number of packs you take, but the time you take it. Really, its better to say that it takes a couple months to adjust to a pill, not a couple cycles. Trying to start a week early, particularly if you are just starting, can open you up to ovulating and a great risk of getting pregnant. Just keep taking them as prescribed and evaluate how this particular pill is working for you at 3 months
