I will be starting meridia tomorrow and i was wondering if anyone has had any success with it. I read alot of the old posts from about a year ago and lots of people had great success with it. any recent success stories? and also, anyone taken it that has anxiety attacks? thanks

Hi there! It's been a little while since you posted this message. I hope you check it from time to time. I just wanted to know how you were doing on the Meridia. Also, are you taking brand name or generic? You see, I'm going to be seeing my doctor next week to ask him about prescribing it. So yeah, I hope you come back and give an update.

I took Meridia about 4 years ago. It was effective for about 6 weeks. I lost about 12 or 15 pounds. It did take away my appetite but I found that I built up a tolerance to it. Plus, it has some other bad side effects.
Anyway, last August I asked the doctor for another perscription and took it for 2 days. I wasn't hungry, but I just didn't feel right physically so I never did finish the month's supply.
Instead, I joined a food type diary on the internet and since August 26th I have lost 21 pounds. I exercise. Keep track of calories in. Exercise to burn calories. And have never felt or looked better in such a long time. Changing my lifestyle has changed my life!
Oh. I forgot to tell you. All the weight I lost on Meridia came back mysteriously once I stopped the pill. So. How have you been doing?
