Hello,

I was just wondering where your baby sleeps?

Mine only wants to sleep in the 'baby PAPASAN chair'!

My son was the same way and slept in it for 3 months~

I am just curious as to where your baby sleeps.....

Are there any others sleeping
in the papasan? lol

For naps, Noah will sleep in his bouncy chair, his swing, or even on the floor. At night, he sleeps in the bassinet in his Pack n Play. We have a bassinet for downstairs, but he's rebelling against that one right now. :)

My 3 mo old sleeps anywhere I do. My oldest DD is 4 1/2 (she always ends up laying horizontally, which drives me insane!)but she sleeps in our bed. My 17 mo DD sleeps mostly in her crib right next to our bed ONLY because she likes too, she flops ALL night long. Sometimes she will want to sleep with us and thats fine but if I want to get any sleep My 3 mo and me will sleep in the other room or on the couch, because 5 people is way too many even in a king sized bed

My 3 month old dd will sleep in her crib (just started on Sunday) at night and sometimes during the day. She was sleeping in her bouncy seat or swing or with me and dh until we got her crib the other day. At 6 am she will get in bed with me until we get up for the day. She is getting a little bigger and starting to move around at night so she doesnt sleep with me and dh anymore. She only gets in bed with me if he is already gone to work.

My daughter is going on 8 months and has always slept in my arms and usually I am on the couch. In the beginning I was paranoid about the baby not sleeping on her own, but it is difficult to communicate and teach a young infant and all they want is to be close. My daughter did sleep on her own for a while during her 5 month or so. but suddenly began eating more than once a night and it was increasing difficult to get up and down several times a night and wake my husband with no gaurantee she go back to sleep. I also no not believe in letting them cry it out so I figure I have a better chance by building her confidence that I am here and I also have a better shot at communicating when she is a tad older.

My 8.5 month old sleeps with us, and will until she indicates she wants to sleep somewhere else. At nap time she either sleeps in my lap, in the mai tei, or in the swing.

DS is sleeping in his crib - yay!

His nap times range from in my arms to his swing, and sometimes to his crib.

Wow, you all must be exhausted! My son sleeps in his crib for both 1.5 hour naps during the day and for 12 hours each night and has been since he was about 8 weeks old. He's nine months now and we have had zero problems (plus I feel great!)!

Nope! She nurses when ever she wants, and I barely wake up. We sleep about 12 hours in total, it's great.

If a baby naturally sleeps through the night, that's GREAT! However, I don't expect it, and I don't force it. When she's ready she will. In the mean time we all get our rest together.. sure beats the heck out of sitting in a rocking chair in the middle of the night!

I slept with my son everynite until one evening when I went in for a shower. I put DS in his crib to play since DH had an ear out for him and when I was finished, DS was sleeping. I didn't want to wake him, and he slept through the whole nite. So for the most part he sleeps in his crib. There are nites I just can't take it and have to have him with me though :) This isn't going to last so I have to take advantage of it now! He seems to sleep better in his crib, I think DS snoring wakes him HAHA :dizzy: Sometimes it makes me feel selfish to keep him in with me!

My daughter (8wks) sleeps in the bed with me, but I want to break her of the habit soon so DH and I can have some alone time. She doesn't nap much but if she does it's in the stroller, Baby Bjorn or sometimes a little in the swing. She usually just wants to be in my arms and will take a short nap in my lap after nursing.

Having her in bed definitely makes nursing easier than having to get up and go to another room to feed her, however I do think the smell of the breast wakes her more often. She sleeps against my chest and cries if I try to move an inch. Sleeping together has been a wonderful bonding experience and I wouldn't take it back for the world (or better sleep).

I stay at home with my daughter so, I clean everyday and get things done while she is up. When she naps, it is my chance to sit down with her and I will watch tv, read my book or a Parenting magazine or occasionally nap as well. If I am in town shopping and running errand, she will sleep wherever she is and doesn't require to be held when we are not home, so I can continue to shop while she sleeps instead of returning home for a naptime.

DS sleeps in his crib overnight anywhere from 8 hours to 11 hours without waking up since he was about 4 weeks old or so. For naps he sleeps in his tent----a cute baby tent we have downstairs made by KidCo. It's an indoor/outdoor PeaPod baby travel bed. It folds out easily and has an inflatable mattress with a pump. We take it everytime we travel and use it at grandma's house for his bed the few days we're there. :) DS LOVES it. :) He also plays inside of it when I need to get things done around the house. :) Its roomy for now, but he will grow out of it soon. We guesstimate DS will use it until he's about 1 or so. :( He use to like his bouncy chair, but not anymore :(

DS was preemie and spent his first 10 weeks in the hospital, 4 of those not able to be held.

Once he got out of the ICU, he slept with me, he never slept in his hospital crib, just in the visitor bed provided for us.

When he got home, I didn't want to put him down, so he slept with us every night until he was 5 months old.

Since then, he sleeps in his own bed, usually 9 - 10 hours per night unless he is sick, then he is with us. I can lay him down and he is out....doesn't want to be bothered until the next morning. He loves his sleep:p

our DD is six weeks now and the first week we had her in our bed and transferred her to her bassinet after that, which is right next to my side of the bed. this makes it easy when she cries at night and need to be fed. in the morning, i take her in bed with us, she fusses much less when she's all cozied up between us and i get another couple of hours sleep that way. during the day i usually end up holding her or having her next to me on the couch, but when we're out, she falls asleep in her car seat (i won't let her sleep in it any other time, i don't think it's good for her posture) or stroller when i flatten it. she loves motion, warmth and of course our scent and body heat, and so as long as she has either or all of them, she's happy!

It's an asian style baby carier that you tie on. It's really comfy, it goes over both shoulders, and you can wear it on the front, the back, and the hip. If you googled it you would probably get a bunch of hits. They're great, I love mine!

My ds always loved to fall asleep in his pram. He would nap in it and liked to be rocked to sleep in it at night and then carried to his cot. He did that till he was about 10 months old or so, when we just put him directly into his cot to sleep. When he was a little baby dh stood and rocked him to sleep before putting him in his bassinet.

Our little girl sleeps in the bed with us. Sometimes she will sleep in her swing during the day.
