View Full Version : Pounding headaches when I exert myself, talk fast…………

I have been having headaches for a good 10-13 years now and they are getting worse. They are running down the back of my neck and across my shoulders and I know that these are tension headaches. Does anyone take something strictly for tension headaches?

My other concern I have and I believe is a concern of my doctor because he put me on Topamax and Klonopin about three weeks ago is, this is going to be hard to explain. I also had an EEG which is normal. When I talk fast or breathe fast or maybe I should say exert myself I get a pounding headache all over my head and down the sides of my neck and the back of my neck. Has anyone ever experienced this?

This was happening before he prescribed the meds.
