I have developed Acid Reflux recently, actually it just really started becoming bad several months ago...

I have been recovered from Bulimia now for over a year, and while I'm sure I've done esophegeal damage from the bulimia, I don't quite understand why my Acid Reflux is just now showing up more intensely, then it was when I was Bulimic?

I am going to see about getting in to see somebody about it, but am curious as to what they do to diagnostic wise..

I was on Prilosec when I had my eating disorder, and I was also on another one (I can't remember the name, it wasn't Nexium or anything.. It was an OTC one)

Anyways, just curious as to what your experiences are with going to the doctor to for your acid reflux

At first, all they did was take a history. Then they gave meds to see if it would help. When it did, they went no further until recently. Now I'm going to be getting scoped. SCARY!
