Sorry if this is a dumb question but I just started taking yasmin 6 days ago and right now I have pretty bad breast tenderness. It's at the same level as when I am ovulating (without pill). I've read the general side effects but I have none other than the breast tenderness and I didn't see breast tenderness as one of the side effects. I hope it decreases after my body gets used to it since I doubt I can tolerate it being tender the whole time I am on the pill. thanks in advance for reading and the help.

I dont know if it is just becaue you started the pill but I also had breast tenderness when I started. I am almost done with my first pack. Remember not to skip a pill, because for me that is when my breast got worse, and that was after just skipping one pill. I hope this helps you.

breast tenderness is pretty common for any BC. It shouldn't last longer than a couple weeks to the end of the pack. Unless it turns from tenderness to pain, I don't believe there is reason to be concerned. You can always call and ask your doctor just for a medical oppinion.
