hi everyone
im 16 and and my boyfiend(17) has hodgkins, the mass is wrapped round his heart and has sprouted up his neck. He has been through 8 different chemo's and stem cell transplant he had been recovering for about a month when i met him, he was the healthiest person i new although his body was very unwell. He had recently started radiotherepy, when they decided to stop due to what seemed to be an infection. He had a CT scan on tuesday nd recieved his results on thursday. They wern't good. The mass has spread into his lungs. There is no treatments left for him in England. His consultant says they can mantain it, but hes not sure for how long. We have some hope in America with possible new trials.
Wandering if anyone has any thoughts on how i should handle it, and how i can help him.
Thankyou

Hi Cuddles

Sorry can't help about any trials in USA as I'm in UK

You can be there for him and listen to what he needs, beyond that you just need to listen to what your instincts are telling you to do

I don't mean to sound patronising but it's lovely that someone so young is showing such loyalty and compassion so believe in youself and your ability to help him - I bet you're handling it beautifully

Take care

Ails xx
