My friend recently had her ovary removed. She is recovering well from the surgery but has painful air pockets. Does anyone know how long they last or how to ease the pain from them?

i know when i had the tubal ligation i had the same painsfrom the gas they had to put in there. it lasted about 2 weeks. i am not sure what to do for it. i just let it go away on own. i remember how painful it was awful and it hurt all the way up into ribs and chest.

Those are gas pains and more painful then the surgery if you ask me. I think taking gas meds should help. I know they gave to me in the hospital when I had my ovary surgeries. It's from the gas they put in you when they do the surgery. Walking breaks it up too.
