I just came across this message board, and I thought I might ask if anyone might know what has been wrong with me. Basically since February of this year I have had dizzy spells that last a week or so, and they happen every month or 2. This last one started on Thanksgiving, and is still going on. I dont have vertigo, and I also feel like my head weighs about 20 pounds. Usually in the morning I feel almost perfectly fine, but lately I've woken up and still have felt the same dizziness. Then by the end of the day I feel aweful, and very off balance and almost confused. I've gone to cardiologists, neurologists, and I've gotten an MRI, a tilt table test, doppler study, EKG and many other things. I am also taking Migraine medicine as of two days ago since I've had a headache for almost 9 days now. I know only doctors can diagnose things like this, but if anyone has something similar to this, and they know what it is, I would love to hear what you have to say. I'm only 19, and whatever this is, it is really quite anoyying, and I just want to know how I can help it. A lot of people say that it could be an inner ear thing, I'm getting tests on the 13th for that.

Thank for any help!

Not sure about the dizzy spells that last a week or so, but what you are feeling now with the 24/7 headache, dizziness, heaviness etc... is something we all experience here... Not sure how this episode began... Did you have a cold or flu 2-3 weeks before this started?

Thanks for replying,
I did have a pretty bad stomach virus that lasted for a day or so right before all of this started. I figured that might have had something to do with it, but nobody else thought so...

Thanks
