View Full Version : Hormonal Imbalances on the pill

I am currently on generic desogen (solia). I have been taking it for almost a year. Before that, I was taking other brands I don't really remember all of them. I've had no real problem with this particular pill 'till recently.

Recently, no matter how much I diet, I have been developing extra blubber on my upper back and torso area even though the rest of me is not fat. Also, my skin is getting oiler and breaking out a lot even though I follow a meticulous skin care routine.

This sounds like a hormonal problem to me and I think the pill may be to blame. I am satisfied with the Pill in other respects so I think I should try a new brand of the Pill. What do you guys think? Is there a good bc pill for people like me?
