I am due to see my Epileptologist on the 24th and want to ask whether he feels the VNS maybe appropriate for me. I would just like to know other peoples experiences, good or bad. Hoping you can help.

Hi - my daughter had the VNS a few years ago and although it was not successful, we felt it was worth the effort. The surgery wasn't too invasive and the premise of how it works made alot of sense to us as parents. I suggest trying the ketogenic diet before any surgery, but whatever you decide.......all the best
