As I had posted earlier, I had surgery on Oct 3 for the second time in my life to remove scar tissue and a bit of my left temporal lobe. The surgery did not last as long as thought and the Dr did not have to remove as much as he was originaly planning on. I had surgery on the 3rd and was able to go home on the 6th, which shocked my mother very much that I was doing that well that fast (I was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks on my first surgery, even though that was 16 yrs ago). I would have came here and posted sooner, but I have been having major headaches since I got home, which my mom said were the same as my last surgery and my Dr said were normal considering the surgery. He is very confident that they got everything out and I am not going to have any more seizures, but they are going to leave me on the Keppra and Dilantin for the time being.
Thank you all very much for your thoughts and prayers. It was a scary time for me because I had been through the surgery before. I had been awake for the first surgery, but was not required to be awake for the second one which came as a big relief for me. I hope all is going well for everyone and my prayers are with everyone. Thank you again and God bless all of you.
