I just had my annual exam done. The Doctor asked if I had children, which I do not. She said my uterus was enlarged and it could be hereditary and it wasn't really a cause for concern. She also gave me a pregnancy test which was negative and I wasn't late for my period anyways, she said I'd have to be farther along for the uterus to be that size anyways. I have always thought my stomach was a little pudgy for my 126lb weight. I am a 20 year old female with no kids, any other reasons why it could be enlarged for my age and status? Is it a cause for concern?

Did or is your doc going to do any tests to figure out what's causing it? Are you having any problems?

This is actually VERY common; I didn't find out mine is enlarged, as well, until AFTER I had my 3rd child! But it usually is completely harmless and it sounds as though your doctor has covered all the bases. You're fine.
