wondered if anyone can help me. im 42, had TAH for cervical cancer 2 years ago. since then have had 2 further ops to remove VAIN2 from vagina. in july this year (after 6 monthly colposcopy) was told i had yet another recurrence of VAIN2. i have had no treatment for this one so far, but i am facing a vaginectomy and/or radiatherapy in january (when i go back for yet another colp) if the VAIN2 is still there. doc wanted to wait 6 months to see what happens with the VAIN2 :confused: as he has been told of one other case whereby this cleared up on its own. i would love to speak with anyone who has been thru these constant recurrences/had vaginectomy/radiatherapy. i have one month to go now before i find out what happens next with me, and i dont know how i have got thru the past 5 months. i have already made up my mind that i will have whatever is offered as i do trust my doc, but i am so worried about it now as it nears. any advice/help/support would be much appreciated. paula x
