Beth's Mom 10-19-2002, 12:05 AM Nic,
Congratulations on your wedding day!
Did anything happen that was strange, funny, or tugged at your heart strings that day?
What is your best memory of Paris?
Kids? That is one thing my husband Bob and I never discussed until the day after we were married and Bob wanted to go for it! -- Beth was conceived that night as she was born 9 months later!
Enjoy!
Marilyn...Beth's Mom.
Krazykcio 10-19-2002, 04:54 PM Welcome back Nic, and to Marilyn as well!!!!! Kathy
nicola76 10-20-2002, 07:37 AM Hi Marilyn!
Thanks for your post. I have so many fantastic memories from my wedding day that its hard to single out just one! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/love2.gif One of my favorite memories is the first dance at the reception. Gavin and I danced to "Groovy Kind of Love" by Phil Collins. Was a beautiful moment for me and I got a bit emotional. I've never been as happy as I was that moment! We got some pictures back the other day and somebody had taken a lovely picture of Gavin and I dancing. In the pic we have our foreheads together and we're both smiling. It was the last dance of the night and the song was "Keep On Loving You" by REO Speedwagon. That's also a fave memory! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
One of my favorite memories of Paris would be from the first night. Gav and I were out exploring and went on a carousel ride! There was a massive, gorgeous Merry-Go-Round set up just across from the Eiffel Tower (probably about half a football field's length away). We went on this ride and just had a ball laughing away. In the background was the Eiffel Tower all lit up (was around 10.30pm). Was a fabulous night!
As far as kids go, well no immediate plans yet but we're both definately looking forward to them!
Take care!
