This is more of a general question and wondering. but the sooner the response the better please.
i was recently told that an odd number of hours of sleep is better for you than an even number. for example it is better to get 7 or 9 hours of sleep than 8 hours. does this hold any truth? does anyone know the reasoning behind it?
Thanks in advance.

I was always given the range from 7 - 9 hours which would include 8 an even number. They recommend 10 to 14 for children my sons age.. even again. I think you want to aime for sleeping between 7 - 9 hours not sleeping an odd number of hours, rest well and as long as you need.

Sincerely,
MG

Thank you very much.
Your response is pretty much in agreement with what I was thinking. I wasn't sure if the odd hours of sleep is better than even argument made any sense. and I couldn't personally find any logic in it.
However, if anyone else has any opinions or ideas on the matter I'd be glad to hear. My friend has constantly told me this (more since I've posted on here and told her that it doesn't seem to make sense). she can't remember where she heard it, but is stuck on insisting. Once again, thanks for all your help. i appreciate it.
