I have a toothache in one of my back teeth (where I had a filling). I'm pretty sure that three months ago my filling fell out! Should I see a dentist urgently? It's going to be pretty hard to get an appointment before christmas so I hope I can. How long does it take for cavities to worsen? Pretty quickly or not?

The most important thing to think about is how soon to get the tooth filled again to prevent the tooth from cracking. If it cracks, you will need a lot more dental care and it comes to big bucks.
Call for an appt. and tell them it is urgent to prevent the tooth from breaking.
