Hi everyone

I have a spot forming on the inner of my left thigh. I have had a spot in the same location twice in the last year. Its odd because it absolutley kills when it is touched- and its not very squeezable!

I cant remember if it secreted puss last time- i dont thinnk it did. I think it just bled when i squeezed it.

I covered it with plasters to ease the pain- and after 7-10 days it went on its own accord.

I am 28 so dont often get spots regularly like i did when i was a teen!

Is it just a spot or is it something else!?

Advice appreciated.

chances are this is only a really ingrained type of ingrown hair.but just to be certain, you may want to have your doc take a good look at it just to be sure.since this reoccurs, that hair is most likely still there and will continue to cause this same reaction til it gets out from under the skin.your doc can help with this part.hopefully this is all it is.the likelyhood of it actually being anything else, just because of the area it is in,would be pretty slim.i myself have had some pretty painful ones develop over the years, and they can really hurt, alot.your body is trying to rid itself of it so it starts an infection to try and push the hair up more to the suface.this is just what your body does when there is something under the skin that shouldn't actually be there.good luck,FB

Thanks for the response- its unlikely though that it is an ingrown hair- as i dont have many ahirs there... and the ones which are- arent string enough to pierce the skin.
if it happens again though ill check it out!

thanks again
