hello im not sure if im posting in the rite place here sorry if its not the rite place!
well my three year old son has been suffering from rinfections since feb this year they where in his ear and thorat and chest hes had gromment put in his ear in june and since then ha only had a couple of throat infection! but he has developed a lump behind his ear, at first they thought it cold be mastoidtis but they gave him 2 weeks of antibiotics and ruled it out, we seen his ENT doctor in september and he said it was a lumph node come back in a few months! so we went back on december 5 to see the ENT doctor again and he was slightly worried this time as he still has the lump behind his ear and he also has 2 in his neck and 1 in his groin, he sent him straight away for blood tests and i asked what he thought it was his answer to me was '' i dont want to guess''!im worried and im waiting for the results, can any one relate to me on this? any thing will be much appriciated!

Hi I know it is very worrying when your child is ill. My Son is 6 now and two years ago he kept getting recurring ear infections, one day we noticed that his ears looked lop-sided and he had a lump the size of an orange behind his right ear. He was sent to hospital straight away and we later found out he has mastoiditis, and has now had four operations to try and clear up the infection.
Because of the infection, his lymph nodes were up.

Try not to worry i know it's easier said than done, I hope he gets better soonx.

It was my pleasure, it's nice to know there are people around who are going through similar anxieties, and that your not on your own.

My son will have to undertake further ops as he gets older, for now he's a lot better thank you.

Take care x
