How frequently do you bathe your 6-12 month olds?

My dd just turned 8 months and I bathe her every other day, unless she has a big explosion. Sometimes I feel bad on the off day cause she loves bath time so much. Actually, she doesn't even bathe anymore. We take her in the shower. She loves it just as much and I think it's easier.

I gove my 8 month old daughter a bath usually every other day. I am looking forward to bathing her everyday because it helps keep a routine.

DS is 5 months and I bathe him everyother day as well. Like orange mentioned----it really helps with the routine----epsecially th bedtime routine and keeping somewhat of a schedule. He may be tiny now, but it all seems help things fall into place in peace. :) That way we all have a good nights rest.

Every other day unless he is really cruddy. Sometimes it looks like he could grow tater ridges under his neck. We do try to keep a routine with him. If he has diarrhea and an excoriated butt, I just let him sit in the kitchen sink for an hour or even more to help him heal. Then if he poops in the water, I can just let it out and run it again.

I bath my 8 month old every night. Its kind of a routine and he sleeps better when i bath him (also he gets cranky if i put him in his pj's without having a bath!!!!LOL)
And he poos ALOT - like 7-8 times a day so his bottom can get sore so therefore another reason why i bath him every day :)

My son is a cranky boy in the early evenings. A bath is like magic for us. He bathes every night and often gets in teh shower with one of us in the morning. He loves the water and has a blast. Now he is 18 months old and still showers with us. I can hand a a face cloth and he has begun to help wash himself.
To keep him from getting dry skin, I don't use soap all the time. I just let him have a good splash.

i have bathed ds every evening since he was 2 or 3 months old as part of his bedtime routine. he has missed about 4 if we have been out for special occassions. i wonder if this is why ds has always slept well ?

We bath ds everyday. He will be 7 months on the 18th. We used to do every other day, but he has a lot of hair and it gets oily looking if we don't wash it everyday. Plus I love the "just out of the bath" smell = )

We bathe DD every other night (unless she happens to get really mucky) because she has very dry skin. Now that it's winter her skin seems to get even more dry. We put baby oil with aloe and vitamin E into her bath water and that helps a bit and we use baby lotion every night. For the first 3 months of her life she we had to cover her in olive oil to clear up her extreme dry skin. :dizzy:
