I have been having a strange issue. A few months ago I started feeling like something was stuck in my upper chest almost esophagus area but only on the right side. I was recently sick with a chest cold and fluid in the ears and took two rounds of zpak. Now all of a sudden I have this feeling all day. I have also recently changed my diet and lost 12lbs. I am a severe asthmatic. Anyways so its a feeling like a burning, from my throat to my upper inside chest only on the right side. sometimes it goes into my right sinus and ear. I feel stuufy on the right side. It sometimes fets so bad that it hurts to take a deep breath or sometimes I feel it when I swallow or sometimes if I turn to the right like in the car. But then if I start running around with the kids or exersizing it gets better not perfect but better. weird, i am wondering could it be a hernia. I have had heartburn slightly latley but I am thinking its because of the diet change. And my allergist did some blood tests that showed that I has the antibody for h pylori. Any ideas please thanks in advance.

If you have heartburn, it can cause all of these issues. Heartburn is often caused by low stomach acid, or acid reflux (high acid). Almost the same symptoms and treamtns (except Low acid is much cheaper to fix). Is your stool normal? Do you goto the bathroom at regular intervals? You need to track this carefully to see if you feel like your digestive system is affecting everything. Heartburn is HUGE clue.
