So I was visiting a university this last weekend and I was in a dorm that was known for their use of marijuana and while I was in the building I didn't see any smoke or anything like that. All of a sudden my skin just started to itch and burn really bad. I have not been around marijuana more than once or twice ever. A little bit after I left the building my skin stopped itching. There was one other time were some kids were doing it. I was not near the smoke. But a few minutes after they had done it my stomach area tightened up really bad. basicially to the point where I was in th fetal position and couldn;t move for nearly an hour. then my muscles and stomach started to relax and I could move again. Is it possible that I have allergies to marijuana?

I suppose anything is possible. I know for me, I was more allergic to the incense that was burned to cover up the smell than the marijuana itself. I couldn't even go on the 4th floor of my freshman dorm LOL.

I had a classmate who was allergic to it, she put on suntan lotion that had hemp in it and got a rash really bad and had to go to the ER because of it, so I'm sure it's possible.

I don't see why one could not be allergic to marijuana as it is after all, a weed. I myself get hayfever symptoms if I'm around a particularly cheap batch, or if I touch it and then touch my eyes.
