I was just perscribed aldara after cryotherpy (for genital warts) and cannot tell if and how it is working (There is redness but im pretty sure it is from the cryo). I am particualarly interested in peoples experience with aldara, how long it took the side effects to start, did everyone it worked on have side effects, Does it work for men (seems like most success stories are women)?
Anyone try to use it more frequently and have it work without burning the hell out of their genitals?
I am really concerned about this and would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I used it a year and a half ago for my genital warts. It did burn. My skin turned red and it was very irritated. By the end of a week or so I was wishing I had let the warts go away on their own, but it finally did work. I only had 2 outbreaks and the last one was in 2005. The Aldara is uncomfortable, but it worked for me. I hope that helps!

I've been on Aldara but have received no cryo for molluscum (like small warts, more like chicken pox that does not spread)
I've been prescribed aldara every 2nd night for up to 3 months. I'm on week 2 and my bumps (8 of them) are a bit more red, one has "exploded and is starting to disapeer. (I think).
Seriously I think I'll go back and get cryo, it's quite long to get an effect with Aldara.
Can I ask? how is your scaring with cryo? will i leave a mark?
