What do you do on vacation?
I am going to be on a cruise for a week and I can't bring along my neti pot + saline solutions. If I don't irrigate my sinuses at least once in the morning, I get terrible post nasal drip throughout the day.
Are there any temporary alternatives I could use, such as OTC pills or sprays? I used Afrin on my last vacation, but it didn't work as well and I heard that continuous use can actually damage the nasal passages.
Any tips or suggestions would help, thanks.

Stay away from Afrin. Just take some saline spray - Ayr is the one I use.

I like Xlear nasal wash with Xylitol. I find it at my local pharmacies in the nasal spray section. Ayr is my next preferred nasal saline spray.

I use Ocean saline nasal spray. It is inexpensive and often come in a 2pak. Enjoy your cruise.

I bring along the NeilMed sinus kit. It is a little squeeze bottle and comes with the saline powder in individual packets. If you have no room for that, then a saline spray is good. I like ENTsol saline spray the best.

Thanks for the suggestions guys (and gals!). I'll be sure to pick up some of those products tomorrow.
