had my first baby via c-section on 12/8 and am just home today. it was smooth sailing.

wondering if any of you who have had the section have experienced very bad pain in hyour bladder that will stop you n your tracks for a good 5 minutes and hurt when you pee? no uti-ran tests and doc thinks it's probably just from the catheter.....but why do i get these episodes at least once a day?

also, when baby throws up, does it sometimes come out of nose and is that ok?

I never had a c-section (althought it came VERY close!), but I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS!!

And yes, it is normal for them to shoot stuff out their nose. It scared the crap out of me the first time it happened. Just keep your bulb syringe close by.

I had my baby vaginally but about a week after he was born I had exactly what you described, I thought it was an awful uti but the tests showed it was negative. I think it is from the catheter. It went away on its own after a week or so. I just soaked in the tub.

I had a c-section in March and I had the same exact thing they tested me for a tract infection and bladder infection but I think it was just trauma from the catheter it went away a few days later and it started lessening every day.. Congratulations on your little one..

hello and congrats. i had ds by section no weeing problems if it is not uti then it is possibly from trauma caused by the catheter. cant recall sick coming out of ds nose but it is possible ears nose and throat are linked afterall. take care and enjoy every second time flies:)
