i had my liver function test done. my alt(sgpt) 70 and normal range is 9-56.my doctor think no big deal.anyone could tell me if it is ok.

70 is high, but nothing to be overly concerned over. Normal range is actually 0-40 but that's neither here nor there. The Drs usually don't get concerned until you're well over 100 anyway and mostly it can be put down to a little fat in the liver.
Have a look at your diet and drinking habits if you have any because these can have the slight impact you're experiencing...

i live in canada.the normal range is 9-56.i dont drink.i do eat a lot of meat.i am 5'9" and 173b.it is not overweight.this test has been done for 6 mth.the doctor never call me until i call him 2 days ago.i had deep depression 6 mth ago, if it is possible ALT be elevated? but since i got out depression in aug,i went for traveling and eat a lot, play a lot.i feel very healthy right now.but this result make me a bit concern.
