View Full Version : Slow Eater Here, Does It Matter?

Okay last 2 years I've been choking on my food, which resulted in me becoming a slow eater. With soups I'm fine, but I seem to take about 30 - 40, maybe 45 minutes when eating, and at least a full hour with meats & chicken. Is anyone similar, and if so, how did you improve in time while not giving in to a choking fear?

Well I have been a slow eater ever since I had GERD. And I actually dont mind being slow now as its a better and healthier way to eat.. giving your body time to digest your food and not actually stressing or pressuring it. But if your prefer to eat faster then maybe you should eat on a soft diet.. porridge and stuffs liek that will be easier to swallow.. :)
