I believe I initially posted this in the wrong place.........can someone out there help me? My wonderful but stubborn husband got a flu shot today. I should be glad but he is sick. Don't know whether it's a sinus problem, cold or what. I had already told him that if he was sick that I had heard he shouldn't get it. His mother also told him that her doctor said to NOT get the shot if you are sick. His response what that he didn't tell the nurse (at a Walgreen store) because he didn't want to go back again later for it. I can't undo the shot but is this risky and if so, what should I look for. Should we contact his doctor to tell them what he has done?

I had heard the same thing when I went for mine. I got mine at work and the nurse asked me if I was feeling well and I told her I had a cold. She asked me how long I had it for and it had been a few weeks already so she said I could get it. To make yourself feel a bit better contact his doctor and ask them.
