Until 3 years ago my daughters seizures were well controlled by meds. Now besides the seizures, (she's 24) she is having alot of other problems (maybe side affects). She's having alot of eye problems. The other day, she had 3 back to back seizures. For about 1/2 hr after the seizures, she could not see and she had a migrain. I took her to an eye specialist but he said he could not do anything because her problems were caused by her seizures & meds. Her dr says it is probally medication related but he can't do anything because her seizures will get worse. I don't know what to do. She has no life. Stays home most of the time.

i keep seeing that the symptons are med related. but i think its not, i think its the seizures. i too have major eye problems. but its the seizures, not anything else. is she on meds? I am sooo grateful I am on meds now, things have calmed down so much for me- seizures and related problems. i know its hard but she has to get positive, I keep saying " i am well, over and over again. it keeps my spirit up, and i know that i will get well, maybe i will always have seizures and related problems, but if your positive it so much easier to accecpt. I am 30, and have been very ill for 6 months. but i see a light at the end of the tunnel. but it still sucks that we cant drive- nor that we should , but it still sucks : )

Thank you, I do try to stay positive but sometimes it is so hard. I did not think that her eye problems may be seizures. Her doctor never said that it could be seizures. She is going thru tests now to see if she can have surgery.
