Ok, so I don't really know the best way to explain this, but I'll try.
I don't recall ever having broke my nose, especially in the last year, which is when I started noticing this.
I was noticing that I was getting very stuffed up in only my left nostril, but it isn't anything I can blow out, it just feels dry, so I imagine it's a sinus problem. I was wondering why it was only really in one nostril though, So I was in the shower about a year ago and I for lack of a better term, just shoved my finger up my nose as far as I could. On the right side, I can shove it in so far that I think I'm gonna touch my brain lol... and basically the only thing that stops it is that my finger gets too big at the bottom to fit in any farther.
On the left side (the side I can never breathe out of) it went in very little, like to where only my fingernail was inside. So I just forced it a little farther and the middle part of my nose made a little cracking sound and moved over so it felt like my nostrils were almost even in size. Well, I got in a habit of doing that about once a day because it relieved pressure and made me able to breathe for a bit out of both sides.
Now it doesn't do it anymore. I nearly have no nasal passage on my left side (my septum is basically lodged up against the bottom part of the "nose-hole in my skull" (sorry I'm not very medic-smart!!)
Anyone else have this? Found any relief from the pressure (or the snoring)?
Thanks!

Sounds like a deviated septum to me. Go to the doctor and get it checked out

It does sound like a deviated septum. For many people this is congenital (they are born with it), and for others there was a trauma they don't remember. If it's symptomatic I'd get it checked by the doctor.

Yeah, I'd like to as it is very uncomfortable, but no health insurance, so I will just have to hang with it for a while.... thanks for the info though!!
