Sound a bit like you might be allergic to steroids, I hope your doctor has noted that; You may want to talk about your reations whenever someone asks about allergies or reactions so that you aren't given it.

I'm glad you are going to see a neuro doc, he may have more insight to your problems. You may also want to see someone who deals with the immune systems, I think they are called Internal Medicine doc's, I know there is such a thing as infectious disease doc's, you can ask your Primary Care Doctor to know for sure.

Either way, depending on what your neuro thinks, he may run a series of tests, and perhaps even do something like a Spinal Tap to make sure something isn't going on in there, you can ask him about it if you're curious or want to rule out that possibility for your own piece of mind.

Try not to worry too much about this. You don't have a diagnosis yet, and you could be working yourself up when it may not be serious at all and just causing unneeded stress, which can also bring your body down from the stress, which could make you sick, which could make you more stressed out. Right now you need to be as healthy as possible, so be good to yourself and rest. Keep busy and occupy yourself with creative outlets or possitive things you like to do so that you can keep your mind off of it. I don't know what you believe, but for me, I try to put it in the Lord's hands, I find it helpful. Good luck to you and God Bless!

Keep us posted on your situation.

Also a dermatologist might help with the outward symptoms on your face. He/She might be able to give you some kind of cream. If the doc tries to prescribe a medication, ask what it is, you probably don't want a steroid :dizzy:

I hope things turn out well for you, are easily treatable and not serious, Good Luck

Did he ever check your thyroid? It might be worth checking out.

I don't think you have a virus hun but pearldove has given you some excellent advice.

The cyst on your Brain can cause dizziness, headaches, vomiting and will probably increase the chance of you have a Epileptic seizure.

Your epilepsy may be playing up because of the Brain Cyst or you may be allergic to steroids. I used to have problems taking steroids a few years back. I too got kidney pain and severe stabbing vaginal pain. GP didn't believe me so I did nothing about it but when I take steroids now I do get a lot of yeast infections and ear infections.

If you're having 2 or more seizures a day go to A&E and they'll sort you out. Good luck with the neuro x
