As a kid I was always known for my ability to burp on command. I would suck air in and some valve or something would slip and I would do what I would call a "negative burp." It was a burp sucking air in, then when the air was trapped I would burp it out?

So what Huh? Well My GERD is high up, probably LPR and I was wondering if anyone out there had that ability. Could there be a connection with upper esophageal "looseness" and LPR.

Sounds crazy but who knows.

Well, unfortunetly I am not blessed which such talents :p Thats why when my gerd is acting up, I am really at my wits end trying to think how to rid of my gas. But I know lots of people who can do that but they dont have gerd or lpr at all.. so I guess there is no connection?

Yup. I'm a great burper, and can do it anytime, anywhere! LOL

You "burp" a baby by patting it on its back. Stand up, pat your tummy softly a few times and you'll "burp".
