We did the clomid challenge test this month and are scheduled to go to our information session for IVF today. I had a dream I was showing my husband a positive pregnancy test, and as soon as I woke from the dream, I took hpt and it was positive!! A faint positive, but I have never had a faint positive or any positive for that matter. I am 39, have PCOS, endometriosis, and an impacted ilioinguinal nerve that makes my life hell. We have been ttc for almost 6 years now and this is the first positive ever. I am so trying not to get too excited. It is so hard to remember that this is just the first obstacle. I am really trying to reign in my emotions, but it is so hard. I have never reached this stage of the game before!! I did undergo hypnosis this time, and there is some research that shows that IVF success improves by 50% when hypnosis is also used.

Anyway, I knew I could come here and find supportive ears. I want this confirmed and I want to jump straight to the 5th month. Patience is not my best asset and I guess the lesson begins now!

thats great news.. you have every right to be excited.. if anything youve gotten past an obstacle that youve never gotten through before it.. enjoy, and im sure everyone here will be praying and crossing their fingers and toes for you, that everything works out.. hopefully soon you will be seeing your5 lil ones heartbeat on an u/s, and watch him/her grow grow grow!! congrats once again, and take it easy, and i hope you have a happy and healthy

Holly, you are right. December hasn't been great news on the boards. I thought it necessary to include all of our obstacles and demo information so that others can get encouraged also. If anyone is climbing an uphill battle, it is us!

Second EPT test said clearly 'Pregnant" (first one was Walgreen's brand). We are jumping out of our skin this morning.

Interestingly enough, I think the first one to know was our dog, Gracie. She has been extra interested in me lately.

Keep your thoughts and prayers coming as we need all the positive vibes we can get. This is just the first obstacle. I am not telling ANYONE but this board!

Congratulations! I am so happy for you, and yes this is the first obstacle. But you have every right to be happy! You really deserve this, and we will be praying that this is only the beginning of a wonderful 9 months of pregancy, which leads to a beautiful, healthy baby!

I just had my frozen transfer today at 9am and hoping for a BFP on 12/28.:angel:

Hooray! It's wonderful to hear some good news! I will pray that everything goes smoothly for you :) As for the dog. I will tell you from experience that they are ALWAYS the first to know!!! Hope you don't mind having a shadow!

THi-- I'm so glad to hear you got BFP this month!! :blob_fire :blob_fire I just wanted to tell you that I too had a dream of a positive HPT the night before I tested and got BFP (I'm now 7 weeks). It's so weird too, because I really don't dream very much anymore (not since teen years), so I also saw it sort of as a sign to test and was pleasantly shocked! I wish you a wonderful and healthy 9 months...and Congratulations!! :)

I also am sending loads of baby dust to the rest of you for BFP's soon!! You all are so strong for going through IF, and think what a piece of cake pregnancy will be when you all finally get there (I stress when, not if). Good luck to everyone.

Baby dust, baby dust. :angel: :angel: I am sprinkling it to everyone on the board!!! Since this is the first time in my entire life I have had a BFP, I am trying to remain as restrained as possible. My DH is unbelievably supportive and in touch with me, and that, along with this board, is what is getting me through right now.

That is awesome that you also had a dream. Our unconscious is so much more aware! I have written "Healthy Baby" over my belly!! This is proven to change water crystals and we are 90% water, so it may have a positive effect on embryo development. (Whatever works, right! :wave: ) Actually, I would think that prayer and positive meditation work in similar ways, so all the good thoughts on this board are so welcome and appreciated! :) :) :)
