Hi a few weeks ago i had strep throat I was put on liquid penicillin about 5 or 6 days in I fell asleep on my floor and awoke to a right side chest pain went to bed and in the morning if i moved (strtch like )my chest hurt..anyhow i dropped down to 2x a day with the penicillin thought maybe it was this chest got a bit better though i have noticed everytime i took the penicillin within minutes of taking it chest would hurt then i would start burping and get a acid burn in the back of my throat .Anyhow i am off the antibiotic now but in the mornings on the right side center 1/2 in up and to the right 1/2 in hurts again when i move or even touch it it hurts then when i burp it goes away i also noticed this is starting to move up the center of chest as well also during the day i drink hot water and lemon which makes me burp and the pain goes but ever night when i sleep i feel as though i am starting at square one.oh i also have minor dizziness and a sore throat in the mornings as well
Is this acid reflex or something more ?please help should i go to a dr?thank you

You definitely need to see a doctor. Tell them what happened with the penicillin. You may be allergic to it. Also tell them about all these symptoms you've been having. If you think you're having reflux have you tried any over the counter remedies for heartburn? If it relieves your symptoms then you probably are getting heartburn.
