I read through all of the previous posts, and saw several that sounded similar, but none that hit the nail on the head. This week I noticed a knot on the back of my skull, at the hairline, on the left side. (at the cerebellum) When I first noticed it, it was maybe the size of a penny. Now it is half dollar size, and on my skull, not in the tissue. I have had the worst headache of my life today, that comes and goes, and hurts the entire left side of my head and face, extending down into my neck. I have noticed that my eyesight isn't any better with my glasses, and I have a hard time focusing on items at a distance, it's like there's a fog in the way. I also have been dizzy and several times this week thought I was going to pass out, but attributed that to being HOT which I always am. If you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it as it is friday night and i doubt very seriously i can get into my doctor anytime next week. Thank you for your assistance!

You may want to go to the ER in case this is serious, if its interferring with vision and such, that's not something I would think you'd wanna wait around on. If you do wait though, call first thing on Monday, and tell them you can't wait, that you need to see a doc or one of his associates that day or at least have them get him on the phone for you so that you can talk to him about it. If you don't hear back from them, call back a couple hours later. Good luck to you and God Bless, please don't neglect yourself. Let us know what comes of it. Please know that with some medical conditions, timeing is very important.

It is imperative that you seek immediate medical care. This is not normal and could be just about anything. The symptoms you speak of indicate possible pressure on the brain fromwhat ever it is that is growing quite quickly on your head. I would make an emergency appt. with your regular doc for Monday and he will send you to the specialist you need and possible even have you admitted to the hospital. Ask to speak directly to his nurse and tell her what is going on and how quickly things are occurring. If for some unbelievable reason they do not see you, do as Pearl Doves said and head straight to the closest, best hospital you can. Do NOT drive yourself. Get someone to take you. Do not wait, get help immediately to possibly avoid permanent damage or worse. I am not meaning to scare you, just to realize that this is highly abnormal and time seems to be of the essence from the symptoms.
