My DS will be 5 months on wednesday and hes been teething for a few weeks now but none of the teeth have actually broke through yet...They are all different though..my nieces didnt start til about 6 months..then i know my friends nephew got his first tooth when he was 3 months old!ive read some babies can actually be born with teeth! but thats very rare..like i said, they are all different but i think the average is about 4 months

I think 2 months is the earliest that its healthy to start, but most dont start until 6-7 months.

Mine was 2 and a half months when I noticed little white bumps and he was drooling and stuff. He is 4 and a half months now and his teeth still havnt cut, but hes got 4 little bumps still.

My son, who was born two months early, broke his first tooth at 5 months old. He is now 9 1/2 months and he is now breaking his 6th tooth. I know of babies who teeth from 2 months on. Like someone else said, all babies are different.

Both of my twins started just after turning four months with the massive drooling, mouthing everything and the fussiness, but they haven't cut any teeth yet.
