i had an acdf in oct. i just took a 6000 mile trip in the car and my hands and feet have been burning and hands feel kinda numb too. any ideas?

You probably just over did it by sitting in one possition for a long time, I wouldn't worry about it too much, you're only around 2 months post op, and issues with your nerves are still at hand/healing. Just mention it to him the next time you see your surgeon and rest your head and neck by reclining back and making things comfortable with perhaps a pillow. Give yourself some time to heal from being aggitiated from the trip.
If however you start to feel swallowing and the like is getting difficult, you should call your doc.

We sometimes get the nerve burning/tingling in hands and feet after surgery. I feel yours may have been exacerbated by the long load trip.
You might consider asking your doctor for Tompamax, which can help with the pain. Lyrica is a new one. Make sure you are aware of any side effects.
