I am sorry to make a new thread if it is unnecessary but I have been out of the loop for a few days visiting relatives and I can't follow where everyone is at on my return! So I am 3DPO today, which makes AF due 29th. I O'd earlier than expected by 3 days, so I guess my cycle is still a little erratic :(

Thought I would let you all have a laugh at me. As I said....was visiting, along with my brother, sister, their partners and all their children to my dad's house. And then tested OPK and got a + just before we went, was sooooo mad but told DH "We have to do it anyway, can't miss the opportunity". It was like a comedy weekend....tried to BD in our room at the top of the house, and my 5 year old niece came running in to jump on our bed at 7am! Managed to make us look innocent about 1/2 second before we would have scarred her for life. So we decamped to the bathroom on the next attempt...both got cramp and painful knees and had to stop!! Eventually they all went for a walk and we RAN back to bed for the fastest baby-making session EVER!

Returned home Sunday and thought it was worth one last attempt...so (and Princi you would have been so impressed) I got into my Mrs Santa get-up and had some fun!!!

Now 3DPO and feeling so relaxed about it all. It was so difficult to even BD, we missed our opportunity before O because it surprised me early, and the chances of this being my month have got to be pretty slim....but I am still happy because it's Christmas and then A BRAND NEW YEAR! So happy to se the back of this one.

Hope you are all ok, good luck for the testing gang this week and BABY DUST to all of us xxx

Hey kelly! We are on the same cd I think. I'm not exactly sure what day I o'd but had spotting and lots of ewcm. (tmi) Anyways this "not trying" has really taken the pressure off this month and we bd'd even more! So this month I'm not reading into the symptoms because they never mean anything and I'm just going to relax. But why during the 2ww is everything on tv about babies and you seem to see all the pregnant women when you go out?

Hey Kelly, I am just about with you. I am on cd10 and have been getting EWCM for four days now. I have also been crampy and my right nipple hurts. But my chart hasn't really shown an O yet....so we continue to BD. I would say forsure in a couple of days I will be in the 2ww with ya!

hey girls, i miss you when I go away!!

Jewels - babies are EVERYWHERE i agree.....had a whole weekend (as it was my old hometown) of people i used to know asking the "no babies?" question. And thats always fun ;)

Its unbelievable the effect that 'not trying' can have hey? I am getting myself used to the idea of a break in the New Year....not using BC but just not planning and plotting and living in the whole AF, O, 2WW life for a couple of months....not sure I dare but I think it can be so good for you....

Megss, ah well, enjoy this bit hey?! Do you use OPK or rely on the chart?

I was thinking I could test on Christmas day 10DPO! That would be such a stupid thing to do, tell me not to!!!

xxx

megss
12-18-2006, 12:17 PM
NOOOO Kelly don't test on Christmas day!!! 10dpo is still so early and most don't get a BFP until later. It could be a BFP and that would be the best present ever! But it also could be a BFN and ruin the day. Even if it were a false BFN, it would still ruin the day. Plus wouldn't it be fun to get a BFP several days after Christmas! It would be like an extended Christmas!

I only rely on my chart. I keep track of my CM and my temp. Last cycle it was very obvious when I Oed. I had a huge temp dip on O day and it spiked way up the following day. I got my AF exactly 2 weeks after the spike. (I thought it would be 2 weeks after the dip.) So anyway it works out pretty well for me. DH and I are just going to keep BDing until my EWCM goes away and my chart shows something. It's weird, last cycle I only had EWCM for three days and for this cycle I am on my fourth day.

Hi Everyone!
Im fairly new here, this is my first 2ww post! I dont think that in my previous cycles I have ovulated(drs agree). I have been on Chaste tree since sept.(2 am 2 pm) I recently (for about a month) started to also take other supplements that my natural practitioner has prescribed. They include: 1 Ovex P(am), 2 Black Currant Seed Oil(1 am 1 pm), Livaplex(2am 2pm). I think I may have ovulated on fri the15th(cycle day 19):blob_fire but im not a regular ovulator, so i guess it could have been off a day or two!( but by my cm and little pinching on my left ovary make me think fri) We BD Wed, Thursday, and Fri. We took a break sat, and then tried sunday but couldn't finish the job(lol) bc our cats and dogs knocked our tree over and broke it :( We had to take it down after 1 week! Oh well! Were hoping for an xmas present that wont go under the tree anyways!!!;)

I do have a question for anyone who knows... Do you get any cramping after you ovulate? On Sat i had cramping above my pubic bone im thinking where my uterus is? I dont know. It only lasted about 1/2 hr- very mild like af cramps.( thought it was at first bc I have had cycles before from 14 days all the way up to 3 months... most recently tho 32 days! Yay!

Sorry Im so long winded... im not usually - I just like to give a lot of info!:D

megss
12-18-2006, 05:41 PM
I think it is normal to get what you are describing after O. I get occassional twinges in my uterus area in the 2ww.
It sounds like you Oed though! Yeah!!! Also, I would recommend charting your basal body temperature or using OPK's so you can pinpoint O to the day and know when to expect AF!
Good luck and wecome to the 2ww!!:)

Thanks Megss. I plan to start temping after this cycle. I have tried OPKs before and I thought they were all positive...then I reread the insert and it said the second line must be same as or darker than test line. I think mine were slightly lighter( definately very close tho)but i wasn't noticing untill i read that. Depressing but- thats when i went to the dr. and they told me I didnt ovulate...but on the positive- Im pretty sure I did this month! Heres to hoping for two lines on the pregnancy test for all of us!

megss
12-18-2006, 07:33 PM
Oh yes! We need some BFP's!
That is why I don't use OPK's. That would drive me nuts trying to figure out if it was positive or not, and I am not into digitals because once a digital HPT told me I was pregnant and I wasn't. It caused me a lot of unnecessary sadness and anger. So anyway, I simply rely on my body and my chart! And it seems to be working just fine:)

Hey Eurokelly,

What a scream - sounds like a carry on movie! But it sounds as though you had lots of fun! And as for the Mrs santa outfit - it was well worth the money, don't you think!

I'm a bit vague on when I O'd but I reckon I am 7dpo - just hoping not to get AF on xmas day!

I was also away at the weekend visiting my in-laws in Suffolk. Had a very good time and drank a fair bit of champagne! I wouldn't normally drink more than a glass or two but DH told me that his best friend Fi is three months Pg with her second child and that he has known for 2 months.

But the worst bit is that they work together and I am so jealous that they have been/will be discussing her bump/morning sickness/names/due date etc............

So......I'm kinda over the shock now but I know that when I see her with a bump I will crack up! But until than I shall enjoy my christmas and try to shut out all negative thoughts!!

Good Luck one and all. I'm off xmas shopping now!

so, welcome puppylove :) good luck this month to you! I also get a little cramping around ovulation, I don't think there is anything to worry about in this.

meggs, all the time I think I should chart but I never got around to it, maybe I will start next cycle if no luck this time, and then ask you a million questions about it....

Princi ~ i really hope you don't get af on Christmas Day, I have had this happen to me before I was TTC and that was bad enough! really hope you don't get af for the next year or so! By the way, I live in Suffolk now.. strange hey?! It is rubbish finding out someone close is pg....I have been through all my friends, my sister and my SIL having babies year, seriously, 7 new babies on the xmas shopping list since last year!!! And still, I absolutely dread any of them getting pg again. I hate the whole thing, them being scared to tell me, me actually feeling jealous and sad, everything about it is RUBBISH!!!

baby dust to us all!!

Puppylove - welcome, I wrote my last message without reading all the previous ones! I was eager to natter to Eurokelly! I hope you are more successful than I have been and get an extra special xmas pressie!

I also get cramps around O time but to be honest I only became aware thats what it was when I was 25 years old! As for BBT, meggs it just doesn't work for me. As I wake up I wriggle a lot and stretch so my temps are all over the place - I tried for a couple of months and now I just use OPKs.

Euro - what a coincidence, I thought you lived in the big smoke! Freaky! My in-laws are in sudbury but we usually stay in Long Melford and my favourite restaurant is the Stoke-by Nayland Angel. Lovely place to live - dead jealous of you!

Wishing you all the baby dust I can find! xxxx

Good morning ladies!
Well I am just as confused as ever....My chart is still not really showing an O. Last cycle it was so obvious! I have been crampy on my left side for 5 days now, and last night felt it on my left side. This morning I just feel swollen all across. This is my fifth day of fertile CM, and my nipples feel sensitive. But no significant shift on my chart!!! In fact my temp went down today!!! I am done trying to figure out my body:) I hope you guys don't mind if I continue to post on the 2ww thread....I swear I will officially be in the 2ww any day now! DH and I shall BD until the fertile CM dissapears...just to be safe. But I have decided this morning to stop focusing so much on it and concentrate on Christmas. It is just around the corner and I cannot wait to have vacation days!!!:)

Hello everyone! My chart shows that i o'd sat so i'm 3 dpo, but my cm hasn't really been a tell-all sign. i've had some ewcm but not a lot. since i'm so irregular i was doing the opk's and 2 positives, but the second one was actually closer to the o date. my doc wanted me to call when i had 3 days of ewcm but i maybe had 2. oh well...i get blood work done on the 26th to check my hormone levels on cd21. i hope they find out something, good or bad, its better to know than to just keep shooting into the dark right?
best of luck ladies!!!

Hi Girls!!! Thanks for the info about ovulation cramps! I thought it would be normal but I wanted to be sure.

I too have had a year of the babies! My SIL just had her second in august since we have been trying- I was actually her support person (she asked me to be after she left her fiance when she was 3 mos preg)and went in with her for her c-section! It was amazing but hard to deal with. Shes a little funny about her kids and I get this akward feeling like she doesn't want me to play with her kids like shes burdening me. I honestly dont mind helping her out- I mean I could use the experience! My other SIL had her baby at the begining of the year. A friend of my family had his baby in sept. DH's cousin just had her baby a few weeks ago- she named him after my DH!? My sisters' SIL is due in Jan along with my HS sweetheart -his wife also due in Jan. And now to top it all off last monday my best friend tells me shes pregnant! Its hard to watch them all... I swear this is a new baby boom! I never noticed this many prego women before! Even the nurse at my doc's office is pregnant and the girl on my local radio station!! Its unbelievable! Sorry I tend to rant n rave sometimes!

I've no symptoms but have creamy CM so (from previous experiences) reckon thats my sign AF will will come again this month. Fingers crossed I'm wrong.

well i wanted to see if anyone has experienced this:confused: ...my chart says i o'd last saturday, so that makes me 4 dpo. but the ewcm wasn't noticeable until monday. i thought u get ewcm then o then more ewcm. my temp has been progressively been going down since saturday. that doesn't necessarily mean i didn't get pg does it? should i just hold out and see if my temp goes up? thanks for any advice, and happy holidays!!

megss
12-20-2006, 06:26 PM
Babyluv I wouldn't worry about your temp going down a bit this early. You are only 4 dpo so there is still plenty of time for it to go back up:)
And I am not sure about your CM. I too have been confused with my CM. Today is my 6th day in a row having it. I have never had it for this long and I am wondering when I am gonna O. I thought I Oed Friday or Saturday but my chart has not confirmed it.

You guys I am having some pretty severe pain right now. It hurts kinda by where my left ovary should be, but it is much much more intense than my typical ovulation pains. I can hardly walk. I am also getting shooting pains in my back, towards the middle. Can a cycst make me feel like this?

Jewels21
12-21-2006, 10:55 PM
Megs-a cyst could definately make you feel like that. I had severe pain on either side when my cysts ruptured both times and it was always during the time of ovulation.

Anyone having any symtpoms? My left side and in the middle have been hurting all day, yesterday i had a bad headache and felt naseous, and this morning i kind of felt nauseous, and i am having a little bit more than usual cm. I'm sure its nothing though...but this pain on my left side is weird, my right side hurt during ovulation so i don't thinks it's because of that. Oh well we will see what next week brings.

Megs I hope you are feeling better.

12-21-2006, 11:18 PM

Hey girls! This wasn't my month..got my period when i woke up this am(only cycle day 27!! and no symptoms she was on her way either - no cramps..no sore bbs...I dont get it??)...:( Im kinda blue cause me n DH were fighting last night... Then this morning we got woken up by a friend calling to make things worse! He told my DH that I was dissapointed for him not getting me anything for xmas- which im really not! This really was none of their business! ( I told his wife when we went shoe shopping that I wasn't exchaging gifts with my dh, so thats why I wanted to go get the shoes I wanted) We decided not to exchange bc we bought a 50 inch tv on thanksgiving! Just a bad day girls! Sorry to be a downer on the holidays...Hoping to see everyone else with BFPs this month!!! Good luck girls!!

I'm so sorry you are having a bad day puppylove. Hope it gets better! I am hating this 2ww. I have been cramping for like 3 days and I constantly feel wet down there. I feel like I'm going to start but AF isn't due for like another week. And for the past 3 days I keep crying at random things. I don't know what the deal is but I'm not going to test this month until I am way late. Last month I spent so much money on tests and then AF came. Anyways...how is every one else doing?

Now Im not sure if I started my period or if Im just spotting.. I only spotted once (tmi-lt pink) on fri(7dpo) and then a little (brown) on Mon(10dpo). Thanks Vigette and Hazel, I was hoping for implantation bleeding...felt so hopeful I used my last test...bfn.. but thats ok cuz i wasn't having any other symptoms and already figured i was out for the month... Now just hoping AF figures out what shes doing -coming or going...

Hows everyone feeling after the holidays??!

vigette
12-27-2006, 09:51 AM
Puppylove- remember it still takes a little while for the hormones to show up after implantation. So dont give up just yet!!!!! I never bleed w/ IB But I had cramping that lasted a couple of days and my temp dipped. I waited a week after what I though was IB and tested Positive!!!!! I will be praying for you!!!!

PuppyLove717
12-27-2006, 10:46 AM
Thank you so much for your prayers Vigette! They are greatly appreciated! Im trying to be hopeful since AF wasn't due till atleast fri and its only wed...But the spotting is weird- it only seems to spot in the am a little bit (kinda red with some dark brown-tmi i kno;) )then is gone at nite? Anyone had this before? I really wouldn't call it AF yet, it doesn't seem consistant enough...I have a DR appt on fri- so im sure Ill be asking her by then!

Hey I dunno if anyones left but... I just went to my Dr. appt and she said the spotting most likely is my period :( bummer...I had tested yesterday anyways hoping it still could have been implantation spotting but it was bfn...The good news is she thinks the supplements are working to regulate my cycles and also she said ALOT of women have been getting pregnant on these supplements-on accident!! So I am going to set my self a goal of 6 mos. and hopefully before then we will get pg! Good luck to those who maybe left this cycle!

Happy New Year!!

What kind of supplements are you talking about? Can they be bought OTC?

PuppyLove717
12-29-2006, 10:42 PM
They are all natural organic type supplements. I believe that you can get them at natural food stores- they happen to carry standard process inc. supplements at my doctors office so thats the brand I am using but I think you could also look up the ingredients and purchase them separate also. I also think that if you search for standard process inc. it will come up with online stores to purchase. The supplements she has me on currently are for horomone regulating because I don't ovulate and very irregular cycles. I have honestly seen a diffrence in my cycles before they were very irratic up to three months with no period. My last three cycles have been around 32 days.

Again it really depends on whats causing your conception troubles as to what supplement you should take. The whole list of the supplements I am taking is at the bottom, other problems I am being treated for besides anovulation is acne and anxiety so the supplements wont definately point to reproductive health but are connected somehow and I need them for overall health which will lead to ovulation!. yay!

Standard Process Inc.:

Chaste Tree 2am 2pm- helps regulate cycle and horomone levels
Livaplex 2am 2pm- helps with liver regeneration and liver function
Ovex P 1am -helps aid the adrenal glands to aid in ovulation
Chlorophyll Perles 1am 1pm -helps with vitamin D deficiency
Cataplex E 2am 2pm This one is vitamin E good for skin health and acne
Zymex 3am 3pm - keeps digestive system healthy
Cataplex F Perles 1am 1pm This one I also think was for acne and skin health

These are some others that are through Metagenics:

Trancor- 1am 2 pm- good for trouble falling asleep and for anxiety
Cal Apetite Forte-1am 1 pm this is a calcium with vitamin d supplement I think
Symphora-1am 1pm goes along with trancor for help with pms like moodiness

Again these supplements are for many different uses but this is what I was prescribed. Researching naturopathic medicine has been very interesting and worth looking into for a less harsh approach. Worth a shot as an alternative! Hope this helps!

Good lord!! That is an insane amount of pills to take daily!! Do you suppose I should talk to my OB/GYN before taking these? I think the Ovex and Chaste Tree may do me good. I can't find the Chaste Tree on Standard Process' website but I did find the Ovex P. I might try a nutrition store around here and see what I can find. I have PCOS and the only thing im on right now is Metformin. I was on BCP but I went off Dec 1st. I haven't been to my doc since this so I didn't talk this over with him...too late now I suppose. I see him next month though. When I was on BCP I had pretty regular cycles but I'm thinking this is only because I was on BCP. I never had a visit from AF this month. I could be optimistic and think I was pregnant but I'm really doubting it!!
Thanks for your help,
Sara

PuppyLove717

Yes its a huge amount of pills but the good thing is I only have to take one bottle of them so for about a month then i just take the chaste tree and a few others for anxiety but its not that bad... If it will help me I dont mind :) I would def. talk it over with a doc bc your on medication. Just to make sure there wont be any interactions. The chaste tree i think may come up under med***** by standard process but im not sure- anykind of chaste tree for other brands would be ok I think its also call vitex. It would prob help regualte your cycle after coming off bcp. I tried bcp when I was 17-19 they helped for a little while but then became irregular again so they would switch brands but none helped so now im going the nautural route and it seems to be working. Let me know if you decide to try ...that is if your not already pg!

"Ovex P is ovarian cytosol extract. This is developed primarily to stop heavy menstrual bleeding. Some women bleed all the time, or too much. Some of them have longer than a five-day period. They need Ovex. It has also been helpful in some other female problems, but it is primarily for the woman with too much menstrual activity rather than not enough." This confuses me. I found this when I searched Google for some information. I found some other sites that mentioned aid in ovulating. If my cycle isnt regular will this still help? Also, the Chaste Tree info I found says it takes months to notice a change. Did you find that to be true?

PuppyLove717
12-30-2006, 04:52 PM
My cycles aren't all really long and heavy i think it just help support the ovaries fuctioning ability, but i think the chaste tree help to work with the ovex in keeping the cycles within a normal range. I found that the first month I was on chaste tree i started with 2 pills am(this was after having an 83day cycle) i got my period after 48 days, the second month i got my period in 32 days at this point i started taking the other supplements (inculding the ovex p) and this month I started my period after 31 days. I would def. say its helping although it prob will take some time to see full effects maybe a few cycles. It depends on your body.
