Sponsor hlowrie 12-18-2006, 04:44 PM I personally don't think that that is a symptom. Could be a yeast infection or a bacterial infection. Do you have an increase in discharge or a different smell. I would not worry too much about the HIV. If you had anal intercourse and then had it in the vagina it could have given you an infection. The rectum is full of bacteria and it could have easily caused it. It is good that you are going to your OBGYN. Hopefully you did not contract something else besides HIV. Good luck and keep us updated. :) last1 12-18-2006, 05:31 PM SInce you stated you had protected vaginal and anal intercourse, there is no possibility of this being an HIV related issue. Hence, unless you changed condoms between insertions, then I'm willing to bet it's an infection related to carrying bacteria from the rectum to the vagina. KoolMan 12-19-2006, 03:28 AM Hi, make sure you always have protected sex.......from ur experience it looks highly unlikely that you have any chance of contracting HIV as ur exposure was protected.....so keep using protection & yeah it's always a good idea that wehn u switch positions from vaginal to anal, carefully replace the used condom with a new one to avoid any bacterial infections.....take care!!! |
