I have had chronic nail fungus for about 2 years and nothing seems to get rid of it. Am about to go to the doctor and see about getting Lamisil, which has worked for me about 10-15 years ago.

Here is where I can use some help... my wife and I are trying to get pregnant. Does anyone know if nail fungus can hurt our chances? Should we wait until a treatment of Lamisil is completed before trying?

Please help! Advice would be greatly appreciated.
My chronic nail infection was not cured for long by Lamisil - The source of the yeast infection was systemic. I incurred liver damage from Lamisil and still had the toenail infection. Try using the Oil of Oregano sold by Won With Nature - Shawn in Ohio - sold on E Bay - I know that product is the correct Oregano bush extract and this product works for all sorts of things. Careful not to get this into eyes or on fragile genital areas. Directions come with this product. I would NOT ever use Lamisil - especially if you have a chronic problem! That means the source of your infection is internal or systemic and you are heading for horrible other problems if you do not rid your body of the source. At one point, I had white powdery yeast spores on my legs going down to the feet - one application of the Oil of Oregano removed all the spores on contact - my source was internal - a systemic yeast infection - this is the only thing I found to correct the problem.
