Hi everyone! I think that I Oed this month someh where around the 14th or 15th. My question is would you have a higher body temp this early if you were pg? Im on cycle day 23. I havent started bbt yet, but I took my temp today after laying down for a while not feeling well with a headache and it was 99.22(my normal body temp is around 97.6-98.2 usually). Ive had a headache for the past two evenings as well..I also had some slight cramping on sat that felt like AF but lasted only 1/2 hr. I dont know if any of this means anything to anyone? Any ideas..maybe just a flu bug?

Hi puppylove! Laying down for a while isn't good enough to get a real BBT. Your body actually has to be sleeping for at least 4 hours to get a reliable temp. BUT, that doesn't mean you aren't pregnant, with the symptoms you described. When can you test, another 3 or 4 days? Right before I got my BFP, I felt so sick, like I had the flu!

Thanks for the info! Conrats on ur BFP! I prob wont test untill around the 29 th if I havent gotten my period yet. I have irregular cycles so by then I will be on cycle day 33...Last month I got my period on cycle day 32.. The waiting is brutal!!! I plan to start BBT next month so hopefully that will help me out a little!

Temping was so interesting fo rme, even thought I only did it for 1 month. I loved knowing the days that things were changing. I also always had a high temp, usually 98.3-99.0.

Did you find it easy to test? I bought the Basal Body Therm. and I have tried to use it a few times in the past but I usually get up atleast once in the middle of the night, so I wonder how accurate they will be? I also tried OPK's and they always seemed to look positive. I found later that the test line was the slightest bit lighter and that prob ment it was a neg. I was also told by my docs throught charting my cycles that I wasn't ovulating so there could be a connection as to why they wern't positive! Hoping that I ovulated this month tho!

I never sleep more than 4 hours at a clip, so I just felt that if that was normal for me then the temps would be okay. I hope you O this month!!!!!

Dizzy girl, you said that you never sleep for more than 4 hours at a clip, so do you test when you wake up in the middle of the night, or do you go back to sleep and test when you normally wake up in the morning??

Puppyluv -- just wanted to say GOOD LUCK to you!!:)
I know how you feel -- my cycles are usually cd26-33 (and one month af arrived on cd36)... so last month, I decided I would hold out testing until at least cd40... then by cd31/32 I started to get hopeful... and then on cd33 af showed.... arghhhhhhhh... the waiting was really a KILLER... so I know what you're going through...
(hugs) and prayers for you... take care of yourself... and TONNES of baby dust to you... :blob_fire

No, I took my temp. when I woke in the morning. I typically woke at around 2 or 3, and then was up for the day by 6 or 6:30. So I wasn't ever sleeping that much, but my temps were always different at the right times, so I'm not sure how much it matters, as long as it's consistant.:)

Thanks Dizzygirl, I think that next month I will try to temp when I wake up for the first time and see what happens...hopefully it will be consistant too.

AF is so mean to us... Its hard enough waiting when you know when you should get your period... Its twice as hard when you dont know what late is! And discouraging when doctors tell you you dont ovulate...I mean I can't help that! Or can I? I hope the natural suppliments Im taking have started my ovulation back up! Im trying to be hopeful about that, being positive is supposed to help! :) Baby Dust to all of us!
