Hi, I've had endoscopic CTS release on my left hand a year and a half ago. Everything went fine and it healed beautifully. I have no pain anymore and regained all my strength. The only thing I'm left with, and I don't mind this a bit because it's better than the pain, is a slight tingling sensation in the palm of my hand about a half inch from where the incision was made. But I normally don't feel that at all. I would only feel it if I were to deliberately run my finger across that area. The incision was very small, by the way. Less than half an inch. You can't even see it now. I was also able to do this on an outpatient day surgery basis. And I had a neurologist perform the surgery, but I've talked with people who have had it done by an orthopedic surgeon, I suspect either would be fine. Anyway, hope this helps!
