I have a question.
Is there anyone out there ttc with endo?

I'm asking because I haven't actually seen a fertility dr. I don't even know if I need to yet - and I'm praying I don't cuz they charge a pretty penny. I've heard all the horror stories - infertility, miscarriages, headaches and heartaches. My DH and I just jumped into the decision to ttc.

I did all my homework and found out all I could... haven't found much about basal body temp - except that your temp goes up as you ovulate... does it require a special thermometer? Do you take your temp as normal? And that cm stuff has me utterly perplexed - lol...

I'd just really like to know if there are people out there who have endo (or any other infertility causing feminine problem for that matter) and who have no probs conceiving at all. Is it possible? Is it probable? Is it likely?

We just jumped on this roller coaster - we haven't even really tried yet... from the looks of your other posts - it doesn't get much better - does it?

I'm not positive that I have endo. I am still going through the tests to determine my fertility problem. (I really think I might) I get really severe cramps (but not every month) and have since I first started getting my period. I have had an HSG to determine if my tubes are blocked and they were clear. My next step is a lap (abbreviation). If you are not familar with this test it is when they go through your belly button and fill your tummy with air and use a camera to check for endo etc. Have you been diagnosed this way with endo? If you have did they clean the scar tissue out? If not I know two people who were diagnosed with endo and had a lap and they cleared out the scare tissue and got pg!!!!!! You might want to ask your doctor about this test if you for sure have endo. That is going to be my next step. Unfortunatly we have been trying for about 2 years  I wish you the best of luck and keep us posted.:)

Hi Shawmin9,
I just found out in September with a diagnostic laparoscoty that I have Endo, but the main cause of most of my problems are cyst. I have experienced problems of the sort since AF first arrived at age 12. Anyhow, I am able to concieve, i just have problems making them stick, and having irregular cycles, i am not able to accurately predice ovulation. The pain an AF symptoms I have throughout the month make it difficult to know if I am having symptoms of pregnancy or just my normal aches and pains. I will write more later . Smile

I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo via laporectomy (a bit more invasive than a traditional lap) when I was 21 - 11 years ago. They did clear out what leisions they could get at that time - which I was told was a whole bunch.

I haven't had any surgerys since then, but my last ultrasound didn't show any growths.

6 months ago I got off a 5 year stint of progestin to stop my AF. My only symptom with endo is pain.

I've been eating organic foods, taking a monster multivitamin, and getting acupuncture for the last 6 months and I finally have what I would consider "normal" pain - I'm not bedridden for 3-4 days... actually I can move around. The only issue now is my irregularity.

That and the fact that I'm worried we waited too long to try to have a baby. I'm so close to that infamous 35...

Any hoo,
Thank you for your support
