View Full Version : Did I react too quickly???

Ok, so I posted yesterday that AF came early and really thought it was AF.
S&J suggested implantation bleeding and I didn't catch on right away until I talked with my sister last night. I just totally assumed it was AF!!
But, I have had nothing more yesterday or today and that is not normal for me. I did a bit of reading on the web and I think it really could have been implantation bleeding as that would make total sense.

I feel like a total fool for getting so upset right away! I have not done a hpt since I am just 11dpiui, but I think I might tomorrow morning...do you think it is too early still???

Sorry to everyone who was so kind and supportive...I am a bit embarassed for posting yesterday and will take the suggestions (sorry S&J)in the future more to heart before flipping out.

Hi Dee, no need to apologize about jumping to conclusions. We are all at least a little nervous when it comes to this stuff. It is just SO important to us. My friend actually told me today to just relax and stop rushing, that it will happen. I had to remind her that it is easy for her to say since she already has a healthy son.

Anyway, to answer your question...It is very possible that was implantation bleeding yesterday. You could probably test tomorrow, but it might be a little too early and you will most likely second guess a negative result if that's what you get. I would recommend trying to wait until at least 14 or 15dpiui...If you can...I can imagine how hard it must be to stay patient.

Whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck!! I'm praying you get a BFP when you do test! There is certainly still a chance for you if AF is not truly here. Way to go! BABY DUST

Hi des :)

Your are so cute!!! Don't you worry about us and please don't be embarrased! We understand, it is so stressful and everything is just magnified 100X when we're in that horrible waiting period!! UGH!!! I really hate it. Well I hope it brings you renewed hope and the vast possibility you got a baby growing in there!! Good Luck and I hope you get a BFP sweetie!!! Hang in there.

I broke down at 5:30 this morning(I could not sleep) and did a hpt.....I am 13pd trigger and 12dpiui which I know is a bit early but the test had a light positive line!
I am not going to jump the gun again here but I am going to keep my fingers crossed! I will try to wait until Sat and test again, granted that AF is still a no show.
The only thing I have noticed is that my breasts hurt! It is not the usual soreness with AF but and actual hurt...but I am not reading into anything too much:dizzy:

Oh My God DES!!!!

That is so exciting!!! Do you think you can call your RE and have a BETA?? Or maybe you want to wait. OH I really hope that you the BFP is a BFP!!!!!
Things look good!!!!

Throwing pounds of BABY DUST your way!!!!

I totally want to call RE for a beta test but i am afraid they will say it s too early since I was told to call 2 weeks from my iui(which would be Sat). But if I don't call then I have to wait unitl Tuesday to do anything! Maybe I will call and see if I can go in on Fri or Sat since the office is open.

They are going to think I am crazy!!!

Do you think the trigger shot is out of my system after 13 days? That is the only thing that is really making me doubt the positive line. A false BFP would suck more than a straight up BFN!

Dee, I think after 13 days, the trigger shot should definitely be out of your system!!! How much was the dosage? I read on the boards that it takes something like 1 day for every 1000 mg or g or whatever the measurement is. So I think you have a right to be excited!!!

If you do call your RE's office and you tell them you got a positive HPT, they might be more willing to schedule you early for a BETA. Whatever happens, I'm sending you tons of sticky dust ;) . I think this is your month hon! :D :D :D I'm so thrilled for you and your DH! :blob_fire :blob_fire

Des,

I agree with Holly, it can't hurt to try. I would tell them how nerve racking this is and it would help you a lot if they would do BETA today!! I hope that get you in and that you have the best Christmas gift anyone could ever recieve!!!!

Hey Dee! Congratulations! It sounds like good news to me! I know we were on about the same timing. I am 14days post trigger and 12 and 13 dpiui (had back to back). I too couldn't sleep and woke up early this morning and tested and it was a BFN. I'm not feeling too optimistic about this cycle, but who knows.

I was just curious though, what brand of hpt did you use?

Des,
I can't stand it -- I'm totally excited for you. I really thing that the HCG from your trigger would be out of your system by now. Holy cow!!!!!

Ok, I haven't called RE yet...work has been too busy this afternoon to even think about it. But I think I am going to just wait and test again in the morning:D and if it is still pos. then I will call RE. They already think I am nuts over there so why not!!

laurunner - i used the e.p.t. brand. I am so glad DH didn't wake up this morning...he would have thought I was crazy getting up at 5AM! Hang in there! It is still very early for either of us to be testing but I am sending good vibes your way!

I will keep you all posted!

OK -- I just have to ask -- what's going on Des?!?!?!? Did you HPT again? Have you called your RE?

I did another hpt this morning and the line was even darker today!:blob_fire Which leads me to think it might be a BFP...if it was HCG tirgger, the line wouldn't get darker, right????

I called RE office this morning and I am waiting for a call back!! They don't put you through to the nurses or Dr., you have to leave a message in their voice mail so I am hoping they check it soon and send me for a blood test!

This is going to be the longest day ever!

I SERIOUSLY think THIS IS IT for you! Your trigger should definitely be out of your system, and a darker line would be consistent with a pregnancy -- OMG!!!

Starting this afternoon, I will be off the boards for the holidays (unless I can sneak on somehow during our travels) until Wednesday. I think you said earlier that the soonest they'd do a beta for you is after X-mas? I am hoping they'll get the suspense over with ASAP and give you your final confirmation! But girlfriend I do believe that this is a done deal!! :D

YES!!!!! :blob_fire :blob_fire :blob_fire

I'm jumping out of my skin for you!! I'd say a CONGRATULATIONS is in order!! Can't wait to hear it was confirmed with the blood test!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

RE just called, they won't test until after 14dpiui so I have to wait until Sunday. The nurse said it sounded positive but there is still that chance of being a false positive because it is still early. She did say that the trigger shot should be out of my system by now and that the line wouldn't get darker if it was the trigger shot.

I am just going to have to wait:mad: but what great news it could be on Christmas Eve!:blob_fire

Thanks everyone! I will post as soon as I know!

I am still waiting! Had my blood drawn at 8:00 this morning and most likely won't know for a few more hours still. This wait is worse than the 2ww!

I did another hpt yesterdy morning and it is still positive and I really feel pg.
My breast are killing me, and I swear they have grown already. But...until I get that call from RE I am not getting to psyched up.

laurunner - have you tested yet? I know we are on pretty much the same time frame. Hoping for a BFP for you!

Merry Christmas everyone! Hopefully RE calls before we head out for the evening!

Dee- Congratulations to you!!! Thanks for asking. Still no AF yet. According to last cycle she should be here today but I tested yesterday and BFN. I think I'll test again tomorrow morning. That would be a wonderful Christmas present, but I'm really not feeling too optimistic. I was having some AF type cramping yesterday. I still have really sensitive nipples, but I dunno, maybe it's a side effect of the clomid or something.

Well congratulations again! Here's to a happy and healthy 9 months!

~Laurie
