View Full Version : Light at the end of the tunnel?

Hello all,

I posted several days ago as "Dizzy in DC." Well the last few days I've seen some improvement. I was able to drive for a signficant amount of time yesterday and I've actually been able to go in stores with florescent lighting. However, I still have this odd "full head" feeling. Like there's water in there and whenever I move around I can feel it moving. I've also noticed that my "off balance feeling" worsens at night when I'm trying to sleep. My ENT said that two weeks after my first appointment, if I was still feeling "disequilibrium" I should go back. Two weeks was yesterday, but I figure if I'm improving is there any point of going back to see him? I was never diagnosed, he just assumed that I may have some inflammation from a viral illness that I had prior and that it just needed some time to heal itself. I'm almost ending week four feeling this way. Any thoughts?

Thanks so much and I hope everyone is having a happy holiday season, even though it feels as if someone spiked the eggnog ;)

give it some time ----- Atleast a few more weeks... But remember, you may go backward again.

Thank you. When you say "backward again" do you mean one step foward, one step back?

I don't mean to interject... but tummy2 says "you may go backwards"... she means that a lot of time with this, you take one step forward and two steps back. So, you will feel better but sometimes it takes a little bit of time. great sign though that you are already seeing improvement! yay!

Hope it continues to get better.
Good luck!

Thanks Joy! That's what I thought she meant, but just wanted to be sure. The comment made me a bit anxious, as I feel as if I've taken "a step back" today.

Happy Holidays!
